Not to be confused with the cartoon Roobarb (sometimes called Roobarb and Custard) that used to air on the BBC just before the main evening news.  Roobarb was clearly iconic rather than ironic!

(BTW rhubarb leaves are of course poisonous to humans, whereas the internet assures me that those same leaves do no harm to snails … )
